Warrington Wolves plan fantastic “season debrief” event for fans

It’s safe to say that the 2022 campaign was not what Warrington wanted or expected from the season.

Despite a strong start, a difficult mid-season spell saw the Wolves drop down the table until they ended the season in 11th with Wakefield leapfrogging them towards the end of the campaign.

However, it is not all doom and gloom at the Halliwell Jones with an exciting rebuild already underway.

They brought in Thomas Mikaele midseason as well as Matt Dufty in an exciting boost part way through the campaign.

Next season the likes of Paul Vaughn and Josh McGuire are joining the club from the NRL for extra bite in the middle of the field.

Add to that the arrival of Catalans Dragons duo Sam Kasiano and Gil Dudson who played in the Grand Final last season.

This should make Warrington’s pack formidable next season especially after they signed Matty Nicholson from Wigan who adds mobility to the middle for the Wolves.

They’ve also uncovered plenty of exciting youngsters over the last few years which will only give Warrington fans more to be excited about.

On top of this, despite a difficult first season, Daryl Powell is a top coach especially developing players and a style of play as we saw at Castleford. This should give Warrington fans reason to be excited in itself and now they can ask their head coach questions as he masterminds this rebuild.

This is because the club has organised a “season debrief” for their fans to ask Powell questions via former Wolf and Sky Sports pundit Brian Carney:

“π’πžπšπ¬π¨π§ ππžπ›π«π’πžπŸ | We will be putting your questions to Head Coach Daryl Powell later this week in a special end-of-season interview with Sky Sports’ Brian Carney Reply to this post or email marketing@warringtonwolves.com with your questions.”

Fans who would like to ask Powell a question about 2022 and the excitement around 2023 should email marketing@warringtonwolves.com.
