Warrington Wolves feature on new edition of famous board game

Warrington Wolves are one of the biggest clubs in Super League.

Though their wait for Grand Final glory goes on, the Wolves have contested the fifth most Grand Finals having played in four Old Trafford deciders losing to Leeds Rhinos in 2012, and losing to Wigan Warriors three times in 2013, 2016 and 2018.

The Wolves have also been serial winners of the Challenge Cup from 2009-19 winning the trophy four times in that 10-year spell, more than anyone else.

League Leaders in 2011 and 2016, the Wolves often attract the biggest players such as NRL legend Greg Inglis and former Wigan Warriors star George Williams in 2021.

They can underline their status as a big club through the fact they will now feature on the latest edition of Hasbro’s most famous board game, Monopoly.

An official Warrington edition of the board game is set to be released with the Wolves acting as one of the squares on the board allowing fans to buy their favourite club.

It will likely make the off-season go quicker for Warrington fans as they hope Daryl Powell’s exciting signings can help break St Helens’ monopoly of Super League success in 2023 after playing their get out of jail free card to avoid relegation in 2022.
