Warrington Wolves fans have made their feelings clear after yet another dismal Super League performance.
The Wolves travelled to Huddersfield Giants on Sunday afternoon knowing that a win would be enough to see them keep their slim hopes of reaching the play-offs alive. Sam Burgess’ side did enough to take a lead into the break at the Accu Stadium but a collapse in the final 20 minutes of the contest saw Warrington lose 23-10 to the Giants, who had little but pride to play for.
As such, with four games to go, the Wolves remain five points behind the play-off pace in Super League and it’s fair to say they require a miracle if they are to extend their season into the play-offs.
The loss, their second to Huddersfield this season, was bad enough, but it’s fair to say that it was the manner of the defeat that left fans so disappointed with the Wolves lacking the answers to deal with Huddersfield’s late push.
The final whistle was met with a chorus of boos from the travelling support, who vented their frustration at the head coach and the players from the stands. That anger and disappointment could be seen on social media, too, with fans calling for big changes from the top down at the Halliwell Jones Stadium with the pressure building on Sam Burgess, who voiced his own concern, after what has been a very disappointing campaign.
Emotions were obviously running high after the final whistle but here’s a handful of the tweets we could use to sum up the mood of a Warrington fanbase which feels extremely let down.

Some one needs to teach them how to pass a ball every team knows what your are going to get 4 barges and a kick that is all they have got to deal with and if the opposing team know all they have to do is throw the ball wide and you are more than likely to score a try for a team of well paid players not getting the basics right is disgraceful
