Warrington Wolves confirm star’s exit as centre joins new club for 2027

Warrington Wolves have confirmed that centre Toby King will leave the club at the end of the season.

The Irish international will join London Broncos on a two-year deal, and becomes the first confirmed player departure for the Wolves ahead of 2027.

King is out of contract at the end of the season, after penning a one-year deal last year to continue with the club into a 13th season.

The 29-year-old recently made his 250th career appearance, and he currently sits on 99 career tries, with 80 of those coming for the Wolves.

During his time at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, he won a League Leaders’ Shield in 2016 and a Challenge Cup in 2019.

The 2020 Super League Dream Team member is just one appearance away from 200 in a Warrington jersey, however a potentially rolled ankle in this week’s game against Hull FC could delay him reaching that milestone.
