Warrington Wolves have become the latest rugby league club to land an impressive partner for the 2025 campaign.
The Super League side will be going stateside in 2025 and they’ve now partnered with one of the biggest brands in the world, highlighting the pull that rugby league can achieve.
Wire have confirmed that Red Bull has come on board as an ‘official partner’ for the upcoming season with the drinks brand furthering their reach into sports.
Ranking as the third-most valuable soft drinks brand globally according to 2023 rankings, the company have expanded into Formula 1 and football with several teams worldwide affiliated and renamed after the company.
Don’t worry though, Warrington Wolves will not be subject to a rebrand, with the company simply becoming a partner for 2025.
That was confirmed by the club via social media who released a brief explanation of what the new partnership will entail.
Posting on X, Wire stated: “Warrington Wolves is delighted to announce @RedBullUK as an official partner for the 2025 season.
“To kick things off, the Red Bull DJ truck will be at the Halliwell Jones Stadium for our home season opener, bringing energy, music, and an electric atmosphere.
“Don’t miss it!”

Warrington Wolves will still boast the iconic ‘Hoover’ brand as their shirt sponsor but partnering with Red Bull is another revenue stream and way to advertise the sport, something that will surely be favourable in an IMG world.
Wire are the latest Super League club to secure a major partner with Leigh Leopards recently confirming that they will be sponsored by Jet2 for the 2025 season.
The travel company, comprising of both Jet2 as an airline and their travel operator Jet2holidays, will be the Leopards shirt sponsors for the 2025 season.
They will serve as the Leopards’ principal club partner in what is perhaps one of the biggest deals in recent rugby league history in terms of notoriety given that Jet2.com are the UK’s third-largest airline and the nation’s largest tour operator.
Such deals showcase that rugby league and specifically Super League can access major brands which is key in a sport that has seen central funding cut in recent years.
Landing big name sponsors isn’t exclusive to Super League though as York Knights and York Valkyrie showed by securing Lloyds Land Rover as their sponsors for 2024 and 2025 with the Land Rover logo taking pride of place as the shirt sponsor for both the men’s and women’s teams in 2025.
Rugby League clubs partnering with such big brands can only be a positive and could perhaps be a result of the RFL’s IMG partnership which is aimed at making clubs more sustainable in the long-term.
