The head coaches of Warrington Wolves and Leeds Rhinos have named their 21-man squads ahead of Thursday night’s Super League clash.
Last weekend, the Wolves took advantage of a poor Huddersfield Giants performance as tore Ian Watson’s side apart in a 48-0 victory.
Despite this, is wasn’t all good news for Sam Burgess’ side as they lost three players due to injury.
Lachlan Fitzgibbon, Toby King and Connor Wrench are all fresh injury concerns for the side whose injury list is headlined by the likes of Leon Hayes and Joe Philbin but Matty Ashton, who was a 50/50 for this game, returns.
Josh Thewlis remains out.
Interestingly, James Harrison is named in the side despite being given a Grade B Dangerous Contact charge and a one-match ban, suggesting the club may have appealed and are confident they’ll have their appeal upheld.
Joe Bullock and Jordy Crowther are back in the side, as are Cai Taylor-Wray and Sam Wood.
Meanwhile, Leeds Rhinos were taken right to the wire last time out before Brodie Croft kicked the winning drop-goal in bonus point extra-time.
They saw a race against time for Andy Ackers due to concussion, but he is named in the squad.
Justin Sangare is out due to a knee injury, so is replaced by young Tom Nicholson-Watton, while Harry Newman, who the club say has been cleared of serious injury, is unavailable and is replaced by Luis Roberts.
