Warrington v Wakefield: Predicted line-ups and late injury news

Last week, Warrington’s good form came to a sudden halt in the Challenge Cup semi-final. They’ll be desperate to get back on the horse against Wakefield. However, Trinity come into the game on the back of consecutive wins and could very well cause the upset.

The Wolves remain without Australian star Greg Inglis as well as the influential Jason Clark. Their absence means their 17 could very well stay the same despite the poor performance last weekend. Youngster Josh Thewlis could return to the side as could Rob Butler. But in general the Wolves are likely to remain the same. They’ll have something to prove.

Wakefield have also named an unchanged 21-man squad meaning their 17 could be very similar to the one who put away Leigh last week. Tom Johnstone could make his long awaited return on the wing whilst Kyle Wood could receive a promotion back into the starting line-up as he gets over his own injury problems.
