Warrington v Salford: Predicted line-ups and late injury news

After their Magic Weekend win over Wigan, Warrington have third place secured meaning all they need to do is continue to build momentum into the play-offs. To do so, they’ll have to down a Salford side who have nothing to lose and that has really showed in their last two outings. They’ll be tricky opponents.

With the play-offs sewn up, Steve Price has the breathing space to rest a few of his key players this week. Daryl Clark won’t be risked nor will key man Mike Cooper. They were both left out of the 21-man squad. All this means Price will have to trust his youngsters to the point at which he may start young hooker Tom Inman. Meanwhile, young forwards Ellis Longstaff and Eribe Doro will provide impact off the bench.

As for Salford, they won’t make too many changes after pushing Castleford all the way last week. Elijah Taylor will return to loose-forward allowing Kevin Brown to return to the halves in place of Ata Hingano. Oliver Roberts and Ellis Robson will again be trusted in the backrow whilst the return of Jack Ormondroyd will give the Red Devils greater size.
