Warrington v Leigh: 21-man squads, injury update and TV details

Warrington and Leigh have both announced their 21-man squads for Friday afternoon’s Round Two fixture at the Totally Wicked Stadium (KO 12:45pm).

The Wolves started their 2021 campaign in underwhelming fashion on Sunday, losing 21-12 to Castleford.

Leigh are also in pursuit of their first win, after going down 20-18 to Wigan on their return to Super League. The Centurions have the advantage of an extra two days’ preparation coming into this one, though,  having played on the Friday.

The game will be available to watch on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Arena, with coverage starting from 12:30pm.

Warrington Wolves

Steve Price names an unchanged squad. Greg Inglis is still unavailable to make his long-awaited Super League debut as continues to build up match fitness, while Matt Davis (hamstring) and Sitaleki Akauola also remain missing.

Leigh Centurions

St Helens loan pair Josh Eaves and Matty Foster have been recalled by their parent club, with the latter having suffered a broken jaw against Wigan. Ben Flower (leg) and Junior Sa’u (knee) are also out injured, while off-season signings Brendan Elliot and Nathan Peats are yet to feature. Keanan Brand and Nathan Roebuck, who are both on loan from the Wolves, are named by John Duffy and could face their parent club.
