Warrington v Hull KR: Squads Announced

Warrington and Hull KR have both announced their 21-man squads for Saturday afternoon’s fixture at Emerald Headingley Stadium (KO 6:30pm).

The two sides come were in contrasting form before Super League was suspended, with the Wolves recording wins against Hull FC and Castleford, and KR falling to five straight defeats.’

They both have plenty to play for, despite being at opposite ends of the table, and so will be looking to hit the ground running when they return at the weekend.

Both teams will also remember former player Jordan Cox, who sadly passed away at the age of 27 during the lockdown.

Warrington Wolves

Head Coach Steve Price welcomes Matty Ashton and Jack Hughes from their respective injuries, Hughes had not played prior to lockdown. Young forward Samy Kibula is also named in the squad for the first time. However, there is no place for Ben Murdoch-Masila.

Hull KR

Head Coach Tony Smith is missing three first team players, as Harvey Livett, Greg Minikin and Anesu Mudoti miss out. Nathaniel Peteru could make his debut, after getting the relevant clearance during lockdown.
