Warrington v Catalans: Squads Announced

Warrington and Catalans have both announced their 21-man squads for Friday evening’s Super League fixture at the Halliwell Jones Stadium (KO 6:00pm).

Both sides had Challenge Cup games last week, with the Wolves sealing a 20-18 victory over St Helens, while the Dragons were beaten in golden point by Salford.

In the league, Warrington are arguably the form team and have a 100% record since the restart, winning all five of their games.

Catalans, meanwhile, have only played four games due to Covid-19 complications, picking up two wins.

Warrington Wolves

Gareth Widdop returns for the Wolves after missing the last few weeks. He replaces Stefan Ratchford in Steve Price’s 21. Winger Tom Lineham will serve the second game of his eight-match suspension, while Sitaleki Akauola also remains unavailable.

Catalans Dragons

Tom Davies returns from injury to re-take his place in Steve McNamara’s side, replacing Lewis Tierney. Young forward Lambert Belmas is also recalled, with Arthur Romano dropping out.
