Warrington v Catalans: Predicted line-ups and late injury news

Rivals round kicks off tonight with a huge clash between two sides tipped for Super League glory in 2021. The pressure is arguably on the table topping Catalans Dragons as they take on the only side they’ve yet to defeat this season. However, the Warrington Wolves will be looking to get their season back on track after defeat to Wakefield last time out.

It stands to be a huge night at the Halliwell Jones as the Warrington fans welcome George Williams for the first time. His arrival saw Blake Austin move to the bench last week and that’s where he’s likely to stay against the Dragons. However, even his place amongst the substitutes isn’t assured with the likes of Danny Walker and Matty Ashton also vying for a spot in the side. Daryl Clark and Jack Hughes will be welcome returns in the forwards whilst Toby King will move back to centre having featured in the pack against Wakefield.

For Catalans it’s a lot more simple. They’re only likely to make one change as former Warrington second-row Benjamin Jullien returns to the side. He’ll most likely reclaim his place in the backrow meaning one of Corentin Le Cam, Joe Chan and Jordan Dezaria will drop out. James Maloney will remain in the halves and will be looking for a big finish to his career after confirming his retirement at the end of 2021.
