Warrington v Castleford: Predicted line-ups and late injury news

In a dress rehearsal of their Challenge Cup semi-final next month, Warrington welcome Castleford to the Halliwell Jones. Both sides come into the game on the back of curious slip-ups on Monday and will want to return to winning ways. The game marks the first time Daryl Powell takes on Warrington since being revealed as their future coach.

The Wolves have again lost Greg Inglis to injury as his stop-start Warrington career persists. However in better news, skipper Jack Hughes returns from suspension allowing the brilliant Toby King to move back to centre. Youngster Jacob Gannon comes into the squad as well in place of Sitaleki Akauola however I fancy Danny Walker or Rob Butler to take Akauola’s place in the 17.

After a disappointing defeat to Hull KR, the Tigers are set to make wholesale changes. Greg Eden returns from injury and could very well return to the left wing. Meanwhile, prop Suaia Matagi could make his Castleford debut after an injury hit start to life at the Jungle. The Tigers are still without Liam Watts, Grant Millington, Sosaia Feki, Alex Foster, Cheyse Blair and Jacques O’Neil.
