Warrington set their eyes on Inu

Krisnan Inu might be out the door at Widnes, almost as quickly as he entered it. Warrington look likely to renew their interest in Inu once the season concludes, assuming Widnes make a return to the Championship.

Krisnan Inu was hot property in last years off-season, and he reportedly turned down offers from “2 or 3” of Widnes’ rivals, including their biggest rival, Warrington. Inu decided Widnes was the place for him to go and he hasn’t disappointed, putting in some stellar performances. Inu had a spell out with injury and it was at that point performance levels dropped and Widnes haven’t recovered even upon the return of the centre.

Warrington are looking to finish the season strongly and so interest may only become apparent at the conclusion of the season, but the addition of Inu is sure to make a line of exceptional outside backs look even stronger.

Other clubs have been reported to be interested in Inu so time will tell where the New Zealander’s next adventure will take him.
