Warrington forward banned

Warrington Wolves forward Sitaleki Akauola has been handed a three-match penalty notice by the Match Review Panel.

The Tongan international was sent to the sin bin for a Dangerous Throw on James Harrison during Warrington’s win over Leeds Rhinos.

He will now miss their games against Catalans Dragons, Salford Red Devils and Hull KR.

Also banned is Castleford Tigers forward Tyla Hepi. He will be banned for one match after being charged with Other Contrary Behaviour.

The incident with Joe Cator was mentioned by the Match Review Panel, with no action being taken on the pitch at the time.

He will now miss their match against Hull KR.

Meanwhile, Hull FC winger Ratu Naulago has been charged with a Shoulder charge, following their midweek match against Huddersfield Giants.

However, his tackle on Lee Gaskell did not result in a ban.

St Helens centre Kevin Naiqama has been cautioned for Use of the Knees during Saints’ win over Wakefield Trinity.

The incident left Trinity fullback Alex Walker needing treatment.
