Warrington could be without first choice hookers

Warrington Wolves Head Coach Steve Price has confirmed Daryl Clark will definitely miss Saturday’s clash against Salford Red Devils, while Danny Walker will continue to be assessed.

Clark missed out on the win over Wigan Warriors with an “upper-body injury” while Danny Walker suffered an ankle injury during the match.

It could mean Price may have to shuffle his pack if Walker does not make it.

However, there was more positive news on Josh Charnley, who went off after suffering a head knock. There was also an update on Joe Philbin,

Price said: “We still have a couple of days before Salford on Saturday.

“We are still waiting on Danny Walker and Joe Philbin. We will know more in the next 24 hours. Other than that, we are pretty good.

“Daryl Clark won’t be available this week. But Josh Charnley will (be available).”
