Warrington Wolves have confirmed centre Anthony Gelling has left the club by mutual consent.
Gelling signed a two-year deal ahead of the 2020 season after signing from Cheshire rivals Widnes Vikings.
Since then, he has made 13 appearances for the Wire, scoring six tries.
However, his season was somewhat overshadowed when he was arrested, and subsequently stood down following an altercation with his partner.
He was charged with causing Grievous Bodily Harm, and is due to appear at Liverpool Crown Court in May 2021.
In a short statement, the club said: “The club would like to thank Anthony for his efforts during his time at the Wire and wish him well in the next chapter of his career.”
