Rugby League is such a tough sport that everyone that participates knows the possibility of injury is a constant threat.
However, sometimes an injury can make fans, pundits and teammates etc wince at the horror of what they are seeing.
That was true when NRL Physio posted a video with “sensitive content” containing Addin Fonua-Blake’s injury from the weekend.
The New Zealand Warrior emphasised what it’s like to be a rugby league player, with a compound finger injury – including a bone fracture/dislocation significantly enough to break through the forward’s skin.
There needs to be a warning sent out for the following video because it is indeed quite harrowing.
