Rugby league stars are well known for their toughness, but sometimes an injury can occur that makes you wonder the kind of pain they are going through.
A fortnight ago, Catalans Dragons star Ben Garcia had to go to hospital following a serious ear injury, where it was described as ‘hanging off’ by his head coach Steve McNamara.
It left Garcia needing emergency surgery following the French side’s Magic Weekend clash against the Warrington Wolves, but, remarkably, he was back a week later as Catalans were beaten by the Salford Red Devils.
However, if Garcia thought his problems were over, he would be very much mistaken as, following the narrow win over Huddersfield Giants at the weekend, the Dragons skipper was forced to have his ear REATTACHED once more at Perpignan Hospital.
And, the photo isn’t exactly for the faint-hearted with numerous stitches on an incredibly bloody ear plastered over the Twitter feed.
Don't want to put you off your breakfast but here's the latest on the Ben Garcia ear-watch.
It came off again last night during the Huddersfield game but it's been reattached at Perpignan Hospital and is still there this morning.

Meanwhile, the Dragons are back up to third in the Super League table after that enthralling last-minute win over Huddersfield who sit fourth.
The Giants will, however, be looking over their shoulder at an in-form Castleford Tigers who have now won five of their last six games to storm up to fifth as they sit just three points behind Huddersfield.
