Wakefield v Wigan: Squads Announced

Wakefield and Wigan have both announced their 21-man squads for Sunday afternoon’s restart fixture at Emerald Headingley Stadium (KO 3:15pm).

Chris Chester’s side started the season relatively slowly, losing three from five, but did claim notable scalps over Warrington and Salford.

Wigan, meanwhile, got off to a flyer, winning four of their first five before suffering defeat to Salford in their final game before the season suspension.

Wakefield Trinity

New signings Liam Kay and Tony Gigot could be in line to make their debuts for Trinity after joining during lockdown, while young forward Yusuf Aydin is also included. Chris Chester is still without Matty Ashurst, Jordy Crowther, Danny Brough and Ben Jones-Bishop through injury.

Wigan Warriors

There’s still no Oliver Gildart for the Warriors, as he continues to recover from a shoulder injury which kept him out of the club’s opening six games. Tony Clubb also misses out through a neck injury, while Ollie Partington is suspended.
