Wakefield Trinity host St Helens in Round Three of Super League and the 21-man squads are in for both sides.
Whilst St Helens top the table, Wakefield will be very happy with their start to Super League with Daryl Powell’s side boasting one win and one loss with the nature of the performances giving lots to be inspired by.
Their Round One win over Leeds Rhinos saw them control the game with relative ease with a consolation try from Sam Lisone the only thing making the scoreboard look close. Meanwhile, their Round Two defeat to Hull KR could have easily gone to golden point or even seen Trinity nick it.
As for St Helens, they’re yet to be tested and that could be a concern heading into this game. Having faced amateur opposition in the Challenge Cup, Saints started Super League against a Salford team comprising almost entirely of reserves before dispatching a “soft” Castleford Tigers in Round Two.
Saturday’s game at Belle Vue will undoubtedly be the toughest test so far for Paul Wellens’ men whilst Wakefield will view it as another chance to put Super League on notice.

Daryl Powell has made three changes to the 21-man squad he named for the clash against Hull KR and it’s three senior players returning from injury.
Hooker Liam Hood returns along with winger Matty Russell, both of whom played in the opening round against Leeds Rhinos, whilst Renouf Atoni could make his first appearance of the Super League season.
That trio replace youngsters Isaac Shaw, Jayden Myers and Cain Stavely-Carr. Jake Trueman missed out due illness on matchday last week but he is in the squad, as is Corey Hall who left the field sick that game,
Powell is still without the likes of Cam Scott, Ky Rodwell, Seth Nikotemo and Josh Griffin.
