Wakefield Trinity make one change as team news confirmed for Huddersfield Giants clash

Challenge Cup

Wakefield Trinity have confirmed their 21-man squad for Sunday’s home game against Super League’s strugglers Huddersfield Giants.

After getting back in the win column last Friday against Hull FC, Wakefield will be in the mood to make a big statement this weekend before Magic Weekend.

In Huddersfield Giants, they face a side who have won just twice all season and not since early April and whilst there may have been improvements during the three games under Jim Lenihan, they’ve still conceded 36 or more points in each game.

Facing a Wakefield side who can punish teams, the Giants will be fearful of a heavy defeat in the heat with Lenihan only last week slamming the fitness of his side after the loss to St Helens, in which they conceded four tries in the final 20 minutes.

The squad news for both sides is now locked in for what will be the final game of Super League round 16.
