Daryl Powell has offered an injury update on some of his key men as Wakefield Trinity prepare to face Bradford Bulls tomorrow night.
Trinity go into that game after a strong win over Hull KR, in which they kept the treble winners tryless for the full 80 minutes.
They will be looking for a similar performance this week, but like their win over the Robins, remain without some influential figures in their side.
One of which is winger Oli Pratt, who has missed the last month of action. There is currently no clear time frame for his return, but Powell believes the 21-year-old could be out for at least another month.
The England hopeful will go for another scan to determine the progress of his recovery, and that will then dictate how much longer he may be out for.
Powell said on the half-back: “Mason’s all right. He’s a similar sort of time frame [2-3 weeks]. He’s not quite as complex as Pratt, I don’t think. He won’t need a re-scan. I don’t think he’s that far away.”

Wakefield Trinity make two changes ahead of Bradford Bulls trip
Despite being named in the 21-man squad this week, Powell revealed that Corey Hall is unlikely to feature against Bradford Bulls.
Hall has been missing since early June, when a leg injury forced him off the field early in the game against Hull KR at Belle Vue.
Six games later, he is back available for selection, but it is highly likely that Hall’s return will be next week at the earliest, given that the boss wants to take every precaution possible with the centre.
The ex-Leeds and Hull KR man was one of two changes to this week’s squad, with prop Jordan Williams also set for a return to Super League having not featured since round one.
However, Powell says that Hall will only feature this week if he is 100% ready to go, with there being no reason to risk him if he is not ready.
Hall and Williams join the squad in place of Max Jowitt and Seth Nikotemo, who were both absent from last week’s victory at Craven Park.
Neither of them are injury concerns, with Nikotemo needing to return to Australia for a private matter, whilst Jowitt has been dropped on from.
On the full-back, Powell revealed: “Max is going to play in reserves against Wigan this weekend.
“I just think with Max, he just needs to play. There’s no specific reason apart from the team’s going well. At the moment, Josh Rourke is ahead of Max.
“Max has got to fight his way back in and around it. He needs to play and play well. He gets an opportunity to do that this weekend.”
