Wakefield Trinity have confirmed yet another Super League coupe with Daryl Powell’s side announcing the signing of Hull FC playmaker Jake Trueman.
Trueman has had a torrid time at Hull FC with his spell at the MKM Stadium hampered massively by injury problems, however, when he has played he’s shown plenty of ability.
After missing the 2023 season, Trueman found his 2024 campaign hindered recently after sustaining a muscle tear. As a result of injuries, he’s played just 26 times during his two years with Hull FC.
Prior to joining the Black and Whites he had played for Castleford Tigers, becoming one of Super League’s most exciting young halves over a five-year period from 2017 to 2022.
He’ll now make the switch from The Jungle to Belle Vue with Wakefield Trinity confirming his arrival for the 2025 season making him the latest in a string of Super League signings.
Powell’s side have already signed Tom Johnstone, Mike McMeeken, Oli Russell, Cam Scott and Corey Hall making Trueman their sixth Super League recruit.
