It perhaps got lost in amongst all the announcements tonight, but Wakefield Trinity have released their new away shirt – and it gets the thumbs up from us.
Whilst the home shirt is a light blue, the away is a dark navy – almost black with a light blue collar and edgings on the sleeves and torso.
Complete with black shorts, the new Trinity kit looks even better with the Asus logo adorned on the front in light blue colouring too.
Trinity will be aiming to improve on their tenth-place finish in the 2021 Super League season, though the West Yorkshire did end the year with five wins from seven following the appointment of interim head coach Willie Poching on a full-time basis.
Former boss Chris Chester is now the Leigh Centurions head of rugby who are still yet to appoint a new head coach after Kurt Haggerty departed to be an assistant coach at the Salford Red Devils.
Meanwhile, chief executive Michael Carter and the board have backed Poching with a number of new signings including Lee Gaskell and Liam Hood.
