The team news for this afternoon’s Super League clash has been confirmed, as Wakefield Trinity look to bounce back from their Challenge Cup exit.
Daryl Powell’s men host Bradford Bulls in round eight, and a win would take them level on points with St Helens and Leeds at the top of Super League.
Bradford will be well rested after having a week off, but they head into the game without both of their starting halves.
Jayden Nikorima and Rowan Milnes are both injured, as is centre Waqa Blake and new recruit Phoenix Steinwede.
In those playmaking positions come Chris Atkin and Joe Mellor, with the latter moving from loose forward.
Ed Chamberlain is Blake’s replacement, whilst Leon Ruan gets a start in the back row.
The absence of Ryan Sutton means there is a start for Jack Ormondroyd in the props, whilst Dan Russell and Ebon Scurr will make their injury returns from the bench.
For the home side, changes come in the spine, with Josh Rourke playing instead of Max Jowitt and Jack Sinfield returning to the halves.
Harvey Smith starts the game instead of Tyson Smoothy, who begins on the bench alongside the returning Caius Faatili.
Wakefield Trinity: Josh Rourke, Oli Pratt, Cam Scott, Corey Hall, Tom Johnstone, Jake Trueman, Jack Sinfield, Mike McMeeken, Harvey Smith, Tray Lolesio, Seth Nikotemo, Marty Storton, Jay Pitts.
