Wakefield have revealed plans to build a new stand at their Belle Vue home.
It will mark the start of the stadium’s redevelopment after plans to move to a new ground fell through.
The local community are being asked to give their views on facilities and services that could be provided.
The consultation will take place over the next two weeks with individuals, local clubs and organisations being urged to make their views known by taking part in a short online survey (see bottom of page).
Trinity Chairman, John Minards, said: “Now as owners of our stadium we are keen to develop the site further and are keen to obtain the community’s views on the potential development of a new stand at Belle Vue and the community facilities which it may contain.
“The acquisition of the ground was very much the first stage of our redevelopment plans as we continue to progress towards our ambitions for a world class Community Stadium fit for the 21st century and the local community’s ongoing support and views are critical to the club’s future success. Capturing these views in relation to the proposed new stand is a vital part of the club’s future planning.”
