Wakefield Chief Executive has revealed that the club will announce at least five new signings before next season, report the Wakefield Express.
Trinity have been holding out on announcing any new faces until they secured Super League status.
But having relegated London with a 19-10 win over the Broncos on Friday, they are now ready to start revealing their new additions.
London fullback Alex Walker and back rower Jay Pitts are rumoured to be among the new arrivals.
“We have got about five (signings) to announce,” Carter said.
“Kelepi (Tanginoa) was earmarked for next season and similar with Ryan Atkins, he was earmarked for next season, but we got an opportunity to bring him in early.
“There is five more to announce which we will do in due course.
“And we are still looking for one or two more to supplement that squad as well and then we will be ready to go.
“We are not a million miles off being done player-wise and I am really excited that once again we have managed to add a little bit more quality to what we already had.”
Wakefield head coach Chris Chester also announced after Friday’s match that Tyler Randell will be leaving the club.
The 27-year-old has spent the past two-and-a-half years at Belle Vue after signing from Newcastle Knights, but is now set to return home to Australia.
