Wakefield Trinity prop forward David Fifita says he isn’t worried about Wigan Warriors’ forward pack ahead of the clash between the two teams.
The 28-year-old, talking to the Wakefield Express, also mentioned the “grubbiness” of Warriors pair Tony Clubb and Ben Flower, adding an extra hint of spice to tomorrow’s match.
Wakefield head into the game after beating Widnes Vikings 19-6 last time out while Wigan were dumped out of the Challenge Cup by Warrington Wolves.
“This week’s vital to see where we are as a team,” said Fifita.
“I’m sure with Wigan getting touched up last week, I’m sure he (coach Shaun Wane) will tell their middle that they have to toughen up.
“I think they’ll try and come through us but I’m not worried.
“We only worry about ourselves and what we do best.
“I don’t mind the players that they’ve got, just the grubbiness of blokes like Clubb and Flower.”
