Wakefield bring in Huddersfield winger on loan

Wakefield have signed Huddersfield winger Innes Senior on a one-month loan deal.

Chris Chester’s side have been hit hard in the outside backs, with Lee Kershaw and Tom Johnstone picking up injuries against Catalans at the weekend, and Reece Lyne suspended.

20-year-old Senior arrives having scored eight tries in 25 appearances for the Giants since debuting in 2018 and significantly bolsters Chris Chester’s options out wide.

“I’m happy for the opportunity to get some game time and play with new and experienced players,” said Senior.

“I’d like to thank Huddersfield for allowing me to go on loan and Wakefield for showing interest in me and working to get the deal done. I’m excited to continue my development.”
