Wakefield pair to miss rest of season

Wakefield Trinity will be without two of their key men for the final two games of the season, with Bill Tupou and Chris Annakin both ruled out with injuries.

Tupou suffered a pectoral injury during Sunday afternoon’s 24-16 defeat to Wigan.

The 29-year-old has struggled with injuries all season and has been limited to just 15 games.

Annakin has picked up a groin strain and could have played his last game for the club having yet to sign a new contract for next season.

Both players were subbed off in the first half against the Warriors and didn’t return.
