Vote of no confidence petition in RFL chief nears 2,000 signatures

A vote of no confidence petition directed at RFL chief executive Nigel Wood has almost reached 2000 signatures, the current total standing at 1,929.

Since Wood’s yearly salary of £314,000 was released by the League Express, many rugby league fans have expressed outrage as they see no sign of the sport progressing under his leadership.

The petition was created by an account, aptly named as ‘rugby league supporter’, and many have followed his/her lead by trying to make their voices heard.
