Victor Radley was one of England’s best players of the Rugby League World Cup after being a controversial pick not being born in England drawing backlash from Leeds legend Gary Schofield.
However, he went on to be nominated for the prestigious Golden Boot award.
A top player in the NRL and still young, though said to be keen on playing in England in Super League one day, he no doubt feels that he has more to give to the NRL in the coming years.
But in the last year of his deal, there are question marks against his future but seemingly no more after Sydney Roosters chairman confirmed Radley wanted to do a deal.
“We love Victor, and Victor loves the club,” Roosters chairman Nick Politis told the Sydney Morning Herald recently.
“His manager (Sam Ayoub of Ultra Management Sports) called me and said Victor wants to do a deal and didn’t want to play the market.
“He’s a Rooster and we want to keep him. It means a lot when he says things like that.”
This came after there was confirmation that there will be no punishment for Radley after a reported incident between him and Leeds Rhinos star James Bentley as the Rugby League World Cup drew to a close.
It was also revealed by the Daily Mail that the NRL Integrity Unit was set to drop the investigation into what happened and now the Daily Telegraph have confirmed that there will be no punishment for Radley from the NRL.
Now though Radley is making headlines about a fight but this time not for the wrong reasons.
According to Zero Tackle, Radley has been approached with a multi-million dollar offer to alongside former Super League star for Catalans Dragons Greg Bird.
