Updated predicted Super League table after opening month as Warrington Wolves boosted amid Hull FC and Leeds Rhinos verdicts

Super League

Wigan Warriors are now the outright favourites to finish top of the Super League table later this year.

We’re just three rounds into the new Super League season but the bookies have already seen enough to start to alter their odds for the season ahead. Wigan entered the season as narrow favourites at 2/1 with Betfred to win the League Leaders’ Shield, but those odds have now dropped to 11/10 after winning their opening three games.

The Cherry and Whites blew Leigh Leopards away last time out and they already sit two points clear of the division. To further emphasise Wigan’s position as favourites, Hull KR have seen their odds increase following their desperately poor start to the league campaign.

The treble winners were at 9/4 to finish top during pre–season, but they are now priced at 7/2 to retain the Shield. That’s enough of a change to put Wigan out on their own at the top of the odds list, while Rovers have lost a fair amount of ground.

There’s been changes further down the odds, too, with Leeds Rhinos falling from 11/2 to 4/1, while Warrington Wolves’ start to the campaign has seen them go from 14/1 to 11/1 after just a couple of wins.

Hull FC have struggled over the opening three weeks and that’s reflected in the odds with John Cartwright’s side stepping into 2026 at 16/1 to win the league title. They’re now at 28s and that could increase further if they were to lose at Wakefield Trinity this evening.

Catalans have gone from 28/1 to 50s, while Wakefield were at 40/1 and they are now priced at 66/1 to win the league, summing up the poor starts both clubs have made.

However, Huddersfield Giants’ miserable start to the season is summed up by the fact that they are now priced at 200/1 for the regular season outright, having entered the year at 80/1.
