Ben Westwood and Junior Sa’u have been charged with Grade D and Grade B offences by the RFL following the last round of Super League games.
Westwood’s tackle on Leigh Centurions forward Danny Tickle has been deemed a Grade D dangerous throw with the maximum penalty being a five game ban.
After consulting with his touch judge, referee Scott Mikalauskas gave Westwood a yellow card for the tackle.
Meanwhile, Salford centre Junior Sa’u has been given a Grade B high tackle charge on Leeds’ Kallum Watkins.
Sa’u was shown a yellow card by James Child for the challenge during the game. He has the option of an early guilty plea.
Both cases will be heard tomorrow.
