Two Super League clubs – including Hull FC – make interesting appeal decisions following controversial rulings

Hull FC and Hull KR will both be heading for the tribunal hearing tomorrow night in order to appeal those bans handed to two of their stars.

Jez Litten received a two-match ban for a dangerous throw following last week’s loss to Wakefield Trinity whilst Brad Fash was given a two-match ban for dangerous contact in the loss to Salford Red Devils.

Now, both KR and FC will be heading to the Operations Tribunal tomorrow night to hear their appeals after Serious About Rugby League contacted the RFL.

Following the latest round of Betfred Super League fixtures, the Match Review Panel also issued the following charges for the games on Sunday and Monday:

Korbin Sims (Hull KR) – Grade C Contact with Match Official – 3 Match Penalty Notice
Romain Navarette (Toulouse Olympique) – Grade C Head Butt – 2 Match Penalty Notice
Liam Watts (Castleford Tigers) – Grade B Dangerous Contact – 2 Match Penalty Notice
Dean Whare (Catalans Dragons) – Grade B Shoulder Charge – 1 Match Penalty Notice
Jack Ormondroyd (Salford Red Devils) – Grade A Dangerous Contact – 0 Match Penalty Notice
The following player was handed a caution:

Ethan Havard (Wigan Warriors) – Dangerous Throw

The bans above mean that Sims will have played his last game in a Hull KR shirt whilst Romain Navarrete has played his last game this season for Toulouse.

Liam Watts has collected his sixth ban of the season so far whilst Dean Whare will be absent for Catalans’ last game of the regular season.
