There are over 20 players in the NRL who are looking for a new club for the 2023 season.

One of those is winger and centre Brayden Musgrove who have left the Newcastle Knights and is only 24 years of age.

As he looks for a new club, the door has been opened for Super League clubs to make a move for him. So, here’s two Super League clubs and a Championship side who could sign the back.

Catalans Dragons
Catalans are looking for a centre and a prop. They have missed out on Featherstone Rovers star Joey Leilua as well as former Warrington Wolves and Salford Red Devils prop Ben Murdoch-Masila. So, in the market for a centre, they would likely be interested in Musgrove.

Leigh Leopards
The Leopards have lost Nene MacDonald to Leeds Rhinos and Blake Ferguson on compassionate grounds. This would make Musgrove the ideal signing as he would replace both.

Toulouse Olympique
The French club have lost Matty Russell to Warrington Wolves. Thus, they could also harbour an interest in Musgrove to replace the explosive Russell. Musgrove’s versatility would also make this a sensible signing for the French club as they look to bounce straight back to Super League.
