Last week was a brilliant weekend for attendances. There was a huge 14,161 fans at Headingley for Leeds’ clash with St Helens.
Meanwhile, it appeared to be a strong attendance at Hull KR for the visit of Wigan but the club continue not to disclose their attendances.
Both Leigh and Catalans had over 8,000 fans in attendance.
Sadly Huddersfield were unable to surpass 5,000 on this occasion. This was the case at Salford too.
However, there is no need to panic about this especially the Salford attendance.
This was a huge 15% increase on the same game last season.
This is part of the overall improvement in attendances.
In fact, each of the six matches in Round 13 attracting a higher gate than the last time the fixture was played.
Meanwhile, Warrington Wolves’ trip to Leigh Leopards enjoyed a similar boost.
