Two players handed mammoth bans as verdict determined on “testicle attacking”

Bailey Antrobus was facing a huge ban as he headed to tribunal after being accused of “testicular attacking.”

Three other players were facing long term bans due to Grade E charges.

Antrobus has been charged with Grade F.

All four headed to tribunal.

After a tribunal last week Hull KR skipper Shaun Kenny-Dowall was handed a four match ban and a £750 for touching a player who was injured which was “not in the spirit of the game.”

His prior record helped save him from a long ban.

Antrobus could have faced a ban double the size of this meaning the Welsh international would have missed a key part of York’s season.

However, he has been cleared of all wrong doing at tonight’s tribunal as has Lewis Wray of Hunstelt who was one of the players charged with a Grade E offence.

Meanwhile, David Gibbons of North Wales Crusaders and Leeds Rhinos youngster Benjamin Hursey-Hord received five and four match bans respectively after being found guilty of their Grade E offences.

It seems that if you play in lower leagues you get bans wheras SL players only receive a fine of only a fraction of a week’s wage. Not right in IMO. What do nothers think?
