Two more bans handed out in busy week for Match Review Panel

Two more suspensions have been handed out.

It has been a busy week for the Match Review Panel.

19 players were charged on Monday from Super League.

Meanwhile four players were hit with suspensions.

Then on Tuesday, Josh McGuire was banned for 12 matches and fined £1,000 after being found guilty of using unacceptable language and being charged with a Grade F offence.

Now the Match Review Panel has handed out the charges for the lower leagues.

Two more bans have been handed out.

Coby Nichol of Cornwall has been banned for two games and fined £40 for a dangerous throw whilst Thomas Doyle of the Keighley Cougars has been banned for two games for dangerous contact.

Following the latest round of Betfred Championship, Betfred League One, Academy, Scholarship and Reserve fixtures, the Match Review Panel have issued the following sanctions:

Coby Nichol (Cornwall) – Grade D Dangerous Throw – 2 Match Penalty Notice and £40 Fine
Thomas Doyle (Keighley Cougars) – Grade C Dangerous Contact – 2 Match Penalty Notice
Owen Farnworth (Widnes Vikings) – Grade B High Tackle – £125 Fine
Mikey Wood (Sheffield Eagles) – Grade B Dangerous Contact – £125 Fine
Jason Mossop (Workington Town) – Grade B Dangerous Contact – £125 Fine
Liam McNicholas (Workington Town) – Grade B Dangerous Contact – £125 Fine
