Two insane blowout scores in Betfred League 1 as one side falls just short of 100 points

There were some huge scores in the Betfred League 1 today starting in Cornwall.

The newest club on the block lost 50-0 to a Rangi Chase inspired Rochdale with four Leeds loanees making their debuts for Cornwall in the club’s second ever home game.

That was just the tip of the iceberg with North Wales Crusaders defeating Welsh rivals West Wales Raiders 84-4 scoring 16 tries. There were four tries apiece for Matt Reid and Rom Massam the win leaves them top of the league with six wins from six.

Keighley were even more impressive winning 96-0 against London Skolars. There was another four try haul there with Mo Agoro grabbing himself four tries. He ended the game with less than a quarter of his side’s tries as they ran in 17 four-pointers.

In closer games, Hunslet edged Midlands Hurricanes 22-16 and Doncaster defeated Oldham 16-12.
