Two debuts and a few injuries: Wakefield Trinity confirm squad for Leeds Rhinos clash

Wakefield Trinity Head Coach Mark Applegarth has named a strong squad for the Wetherby Whaler Festive Challenge on Boxing Day against Leeds at Headingley, kick off 11.30am.

The squad includes new signings Morgan Smith and Renouf Atoni who will both make their first appearances in Trinity colours. Samisoni Langi, recent signing from Catalans, will feature in our January friendlies having only just started training, whilst Kevin Proctor will arrive with on 27th December.

Fullback or halfback Robbie Butterworth will get the chance to impress in his second Festive Challenge, whilst youngsters Oliver Pratt and Joe Law will be hungry for action after progressing from the Trinity academy.

A few senior players are missing with minor injuries according to the club and won’t be risked on Boxing Day, but will be back in contention for our January outings.
