Toulouse’s star fullback signs until 2022

Toulouse Olympique have announced that star fullback Mark Kheirallah has signed a new two-year deal.

The 30-year-old is into his ninth season with the French club, having signed from Sydney Roosters back in 2012, and reportedly had interest from Super League before agreeing his new contract.

He has played over 180 games, scoring 137 tries and earning four caps for France having qualified through residency.

He is one of several key men in Sylvain Houles’ side and will be key if Toulouse are to reach Super League in the coming years.

“I am very happy and excited to continue playing Toulouse,” Kheirallah said. “We have embarked on a project which has not yet been completed. I am determined to see it through.”

Toulouse president Bernard Sarrazain added: “How can we not be satisfied and proud to keep a player like Mark in our squad.

“He is one of those who already have the Super League level, and has been for several seasons already.”
