Toulouse’s Mark Kheirallah will play in Super League in 2022

Toulouse Olympique’s Mark Kheirallah will play in Super League in 2022 after appearing to come to a decision over his future.

Concerns had been raised by the Australian fullback following a period of uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 vaccine and the French government rules.

However, Kheirallah now appears destined to stay in the south of France ahead of the Super League season in 2022.

Kheirallah posted on Instagram: “Excited is an understatement for how I’m feeling about this weekend!

“9 years of hard work and sacrifice all leading up to this moment. From running around in parks all over the south of France to now being in the biggest and best Rugby League competition in Northern Hemisphere. Super League!! ✊

“Busting my ass at training each day and having recovered from C19 early January allows me to be involved with such a tremendous occasion 😍

“I hope this year is exactly what I dreamed it would be.”

Toulouse’s first game in Super League will be at home to the Huddersfield Giants as Sylvan Houles’ first foray into the top flight.
