Toulouse sign Welsh international hooker

Toulouse Olympique have secured the signing of Lloyd White for the 2020 season.

The 31-year-old has spent this season playing for Mackay Cutters in the Queensland Cup but has played almost 200 first grade games in England.

He started his professional career in 2011 with Crusaders before signing for Widnes a year later.

White went on to spend the next seven seasons with the Vikings and became a regular in the Wales national team during that time.

“I am very happy to have signed for Toulouse,” White told to13.com. “It is a super club on an upward slope with great ambitions. I can’t wait to get into this new season!”

Toulouse president Bernard Sarrazain added: “It is a great satisfaction that Lloyd, with more than 200 high level matches, joins us. With his technical and physical qualities, he will complement our team very well.”
