Toulouse sign up integral coach

Adam Innes, the performance manager of Toulouse Olympique, has renewed his contract for two more years.

Innes arrived at the French club from the Ours de Saint-Gaudens in 2011 as a player until 2013 when he hung up his boots – he subsequently became Sylvain Houles’ assistant coach.

Since his arrival in the staff he has contributed a lot to the Olympian club, helping the club do the double during the 2013-2014 season with the Coupe de France – French Championship and the title of Champion of France in 2015.

Innes was key in steering Toulouse to promotion into the Championship in 2016 as well as the historic rise into the Super League this year, marking his tenth year at the French side.

Innes said: “I’m very happy to stay here with this group, I can’t wait to taste the Super League both personally and collectively, in order to build this new adventure in the long term. “

The Toulouse President, Bernard Sarrazain said: “Adam contributes directly to the performance of the players and therefore of the club. He has been doing extraordinary work for many years. We are obviously very happy that he is staying with us for this Super League adventure. “
