Toulouse Olympique star Eloi Pelissier commits to the club for 2023

In what is brilliant news for Toulouse Olympique, nuggety hooker Eloi Pelissier has signed a new two-year deal with the option of another at the Stade Ernest Wallon.

An experienced reinforcement, Pelisser joined the club back in 2020 after beginning his career with St Estève / XIII Catalan in 2009.

He spent two seasons there, which opened the doors to the Dragons first team in 2011. That year, he played 25 games in all competitions.

His time with the Catalans club ended in 2017 and the hooker made the move to Leigh Centurions who then played in the Super League.

After a stint at FC Lézignan to play in the 2017/2018 French Championship season, Pelissier was back in England with the London Broncos.

He went on to play three seasons and enjoyed a promotion winning year in the capital back in 2018.

Pelissier joined Toulouse back in 2021, registering 14 appearances and scoring ten tries during this historic season for the Bleu & Blanc club, with the promotion to Super League.

This year, the hooker has played 19 games, scoring three tries as well as a drop goal. The native of Saint-Paul de Fenouillet will continue to bring his experience as well as his combativeness on the ground to help the French club in their quest to reach Super League once more.

Bernard Sarrazain, President of TO XIII said: “A player like Eloi is essential in a group. His determination, his experience and his fighting spirit can only help us to get back into the Super League next season.
