French international Anthony Marion will get a chance in Super League with Toulouse Olympique after being handed a deal for 2022.
Though primarily a hooker, Marion can play as a halfback and has been at the French club since 2014, fighting back from a serious ankle injury in 2019.
With 13 games under his belt, including six tries and 27 conversions, the 28-year-old has become a pivotal cog in the Toulouse wheel to get to Super League.
To cap off a superb year for Marion, he was included in the French team to face England in October.
Marion said: “I am very happy to continue the adventure with the TO and to be able to discover the Super League in these colours.”
The President of Toulouse, Bernard Sarrazain, said: “Anthony has performed at all levels with the TO, from the French Championship to the Super League.
“He is a competitor who is one of the essential elements of our squad and I am delighted to have him in our ranks.”
Toulouse earned promotion with an emphatic victory over Featherstone Rovers in the Million Pound Game at the Stade Ernest Wallon.
