Hull KR captain Joel Tomkins has been issued with a two-match ban for questioning the integrity of a match official.
Tomkins hearing was delayed until this evening on request as he sat out Rovers defeat to Castleford on Friday night.
As a result of missing that game, the Robins skipper will be available for selection again after this week’s match against Wakefield Trinity.
The Grade D charge issued to Tomkins normally carries a 3-5 match suspension, but after pleading guilty to the charge he was issued with a reduced ban.
Because of his good disciplinary record and acceptance of guilt, the Independent Operational Rules Tribunal went outside the normal sanctions of a Grade D charge.
Tomkins, who was also issued with a £500 fine, will be available for selection again when Hull KR host Catalans Dragons on Sunday week.
