Salford Red Devils went down 36-10 to Catalans Dragons today with little to cheer about for the home side.
That means that Paul Rowley’s side have won just three games in 2022 – and two of those were in the first two weeks of the Super League season.
And, to compound the problems faced by the Red Devils one of their stars from the season so far – Tim Lafai – has suffered a bad injury, incurring a fractured hand.
That will see the Samoan centre sidelined for just over a month according to to Rowley in his post-match press conference.
🗣 “Tim Lafai has fractured his hand so he was out today. He’s looking at four to five weeks out.”
